There's nothing more sexy to me than a good glass of wine paired with a little seafood. The rawer the better - call me weird. What's even more weird is that I didn't know Pinot Noir came in white! MasterClass.com indicates that Pinot Noir grapes are light red in color and translucent because of the water they inherently retain while on the vine, but they can be produced to a white wine that is crisp, refreshing, and surprisingly good. Paired with raw oysters or clams is ideal for my pallet. Try it and let me know how it works with yours.

A Cocktial With Purpose
Good old Jack Daniels Whiskey on the rocks is my night-cap go-to. Without fail, one glass will put me on the path to sleepsville. Two and I'm down for the count. I worked with an older gentleman named John a few times when I was working for a company that provides health assessments to the military. He told me that he and his wife have had a cocktail every night for the past 30-years. They are still happily married last time I checked. But here's a tip; if you order at a restaurant, ask for the ice (aka rocks) on the side.
